The website is inteded as local system for sharing our(user's) old books. You register, fill in all the books you don't need or want to sell and wait for some user(or visitor) to contact you with a request about some book of interest to him/her. This simple concept of "give and receive" should be sufficient enough to keep the system running on itself withought any additional funding.
